The newsletter is well worth reading on a regular basis. This edition focuses on the recent visit by top BSA leaders with LDS top leaders. It states that they came to increase understanding of the LDS program, etc. I can tell you that most BSA professionals understand LDS scouting, many times better than LDS scouters and priesthood leaders. What they (the professionals) do not understand is why the LDS are not using the programs of scouting, especially the ones specifically designed for the LDS like Varsity Scouting.
